- These are a couple of progams that we use here to help maintain our Novell
- networks. We currently have four networks running with appr. 150 stations
- and 1300 registered users. The major part of our users are students who
- sign up to use the system for a semester at a time. Only about fifty of
- our staff and teachers have access to the network from their offices, but
- a lot have accounts and use the student labs for network access.
- Some of the topologies in use are token ring - the original network,
- arcnet - coax star and bus and twisted pair types, appletalk to some Mac
- SE's and ethernet to tie the servers together. We also have a Micom card
- in one of the servers to act as a TCP/IP gateway to our two main frames.
- Hope you can either use these programs as is or feel free to modify them
- to suit your own needs. I basically took some thing similar off of this
- bbs and modified it to do what we have now. I also made heavy use of my
- manual which explains the calls that can be made. Unfortunately, said
- manual does not explain it that well. If anyone can further modify this
- code so that it can give the users last login date and time, I would
- appreciate seeing that code.Another thing I would like to be able to do
- is get any users disk space in use. In as much as we limit our students
- to only so much disk space it would be nice to be able to call up said
- information.
- Won't dwell upon how the progrmas work as it is explained in the headers
- of the C source. Lastly this is all on Turbo C 2.0.
